Waxing Dos & Don’ts

Avoid waxing if you:

  • are using anti-aging or skin thinning products for facial waxing… AHAs, etc.
  • are sunburnt or have been exposed to UV rays within the past 12 hours
  • are on Roaccutane or acne medication
  • have varicose veins
  • are diabetic
  • are allergic to essential oils

Wax after-care, avoid the following:

  • hot baths/showers
  • tight clothing
  • exercise or anything that will cause you to perspire
  • heat treatments or UV exposure (including sauna)
  • body lotions, fake tan, etc.
